Payment terms
How paying SeeTech through this website works — in plain language.
Last updated: October 25, 2026
1. What these terms cover
These terms apply when you pay SeeTech Software Solutions through this website — using a payment plan we send you, or for a SeeTech Invoices subscription (section 8). They cover how and when you are charged. What we are building for you, timelines, ownership and what happens if a project changes are set out in your project agreement or proposal. If anything here conflicts with an agreement you have signed with us, the signed agreement wins.
2. Your payment plan
A payment plan lists everything you will pay for a piece of work. Each part is one of:
- A payment — a single amount, sometimes shown as a percentage of the project total (for example, a 30% deposit).
- Installments — a total split into equal monthly card payments. The first is paid when you start; the rest are charged monthly to the same card, and the plan ends automatically after the last one. If the total does not divide evenly, the first installment includes the extra cents.
- A monthly fee — a fixed amount charged every month, for example for hosting or support, until it is cancelled.
Each part becomes due either right away, on a set date, or when we tell you the related work is complete. We email you whenever a payment becomes due, and you can always see the whole plan — what is paid, what is due and what is still to come — on its payment page and in your account.
3. How you pay
Payments are processed by Stripe. You pay on Stripe's secure checkout page; your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach us. All amounts are in US dollars. Stripe emails you a receipt for every payment, and your account keeps a record of each one with its invoice.
4. Automatic payments
When you pay on a plan that has later payments, checkout lists those payments and asks whether they may be charged automatically to the same card. By paying, you authorise us to charge that card for exactly those payments, at the amounts shown, when each one becomes due. We email you a receipt each time.
- We never automatically charge a payment you did not see listed, or a different amount. If we add or change a payment, we send you a link to pay it instead.
- You can turn automatic payments off at any time from your account or the plan's payment page. Turning them off does not cancel what you owe — later payments are then sent to you as links to pay.
- If an automatic charge does not go through, we email you a link to pay another way.
5. Monthly fees and installments
Monthly fees and installments are charged on the same day each month as the first payment. A monthly fee continues until it is cancelled by either of us. Cancelling stops future charges from the end of the current monthly period; the current month is not refunded unless your project agreement says otherwise. Installment plans run until every installment is paid.
6. If a payment fails
If a scheduled charge fails, Stripe retries it automatically over the following days and we email you so you can update your card from your account. If a payment remains unpaid, we will contact you to sort it out. Any consequences of late or missed payments — such as pausing work — are set out in your project agreement.
7. Refunds and questions about a charge
If you think a charge is wrong, please email info@seetech.tech before contacting your card issuer — we will look into it promptly and correct any mistake. Whether a payment is refundable depends on your project agreement. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method and usually appear within 5–10 business days.
8. SeeTech Invoices
SeeTech Invoices lets you create invoices and send them to your own customers.
- Free allowance. Your first 10 issued invoices are free. Drafts never count; an invoice counts when you first issue it (“Create & share”).
- Unlimited plan. After that, unlimited invoices cost US$3 a month, charged to your card through Stripe each month on the day you subscribed. Cancel any time from your account; you keep unlimited invoices until the end of the month you have paid for, and the current month is not refunded.
- Your invoices are yours. SeeTech is not a party to the sale between you and your customer and does not collect or hold payments for you. You are responsible for what your invoices say, and for any tax that applies to them.
- Fair use. Do not use SeeTech Invoices for fraudulent, misleading or unlawful invoices, or to send unwanted email. We may limit or suspend accounts that do. Emailing invoices from SeeTech is limited to 30 a day per account.
- Reminders. If you leave automatic reminders on, we email your customer reminders about unpaid invoices on your behalf (before the due date, on the day, and twice after), and we email you when an invoice becomes overdue. You can switch customer reminders off for any invoice, and they stop as soon as you mark it paid.
9. Your information
How we handle your account and payment information is described in our privacy policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes apply to payments that become due after the update; the date at the top shows when they last changed. Payments you have already authorised are charged as they were described when you agreed.
